Assistant General Manager in Sharjah. One of the largest and busiest Amusement parks in the UAE is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager/Operations Manager to join their team. An exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager in the Industry who is looking to commit to an established venue. The role of Assistant General Manager is a comprehensive one which includes a number of different management qualities such as, Operations Experience, Technical Experience, Budget Management, Forecasting, Marketing and Leadership qualities. It would also include the following responsibilities:  Monitoring the SOPs and ensure that the operators are following them,  Manage any maintenance issues as per manufacturer standards, Identify safety issues and resolve them: Identify new revenue generating opportunities, Keep up to date with market developments in loyalty programs and new attractions, Develop corporate deals, Set the targets and communicate the budgets throughout the organisation, Review monthly financial results and prepare strategies, Address employee issues, Report regularly to GM and MD, Prepare monthly reports.
Requirements: Bachelors degree,  3-5 years of Operational Leisure Industry Experience within a management role, Excellent communication skills, Strong working knowledge of P&L, Experience in regular reporting to seniors, Experience in monitoring and implementing methods to improve customer service standards, Good working knowledge of the market place, UAE culture and general business practices, Experience of operations, attraction safety, staff management, inventory control, ticketing, budgeting, promotions and events management.(20jan)
